How do you Live with Agoraphobia?

Agoraphobia is a nasty thing to live with. But that doesn't mean you can't live a long and happy life. You can be as adventurous as you want! Yes, it is hard to let go of fears and phobias and that's okay. Take all the time you need. Just know that there is hope for you, as there was for me. I love you all! <3

Don't be afraid to reach out to me if need be. You can set up weekly appointments with me (the link for that is in my bio) or you can PM me for a quick chat! Stay strong my sweet friends! :)

I have agoraphobia and my life is bad but not because of that...in crowds I get nervous, get cold sweats and shaky and very angry, in the subway tunnels I used to purposely bump my shoulder into people because they were so rude and uneducated as to follow a simple rule: stay on your right!

That is why I never go to concerts or malls, hypermarkets or stay in line...I get extremely angry in crowds....

But then as with any other phobia is all about mind over matter so I can focus and put up a play and in crowds be OK😉😎😊😁😀

@GreyMirror

(That is why I long to live in nature, well away from people...)

Yes. I totally understand (as I have pretty bad agoraphobia as well) I get the feeling of wanting to live alone too. Thanks for sharing! <3

@Jen7Cups

Thank you for writing meaningful threads and being an icon of 7cups...

It is hard, not only agoraphobia but getting a handful of conditions and then some it kind of gets to you...

I found solace anchoring in your threads...

Some people forgot gratitude, I did not and am thankful for your help...

@Jen7Cups

Not living alone but not in crowds, I am after all a social pack animal but in crowds I get like Pardaillaian and suddently want to punch the lights out of everybody...or like sometimes I imagined I was an atomic bomb and just explode in the middle of everybody and obliterate them all in silence...

I have agoraphobia. Truth is I haven't been out of the house for a couple years now. I've been trying to work on it but it's so hard. I'm afraid if I leave I'll just have more panic attacks.
