Thanatophobia
I am constantly thinking about death. After death. But I think what is scaring me the most is the fact that one day nothing will exist and well never get another chance ever again at anything. It makes me whole body go numb in fear even though I wont be here. It terrifys me the most
I have no idea how to calm down. I see things and look at things in my life and think none of it matters because well all be gone one day.
@MamaChi
Why do you feel it doesn't matter because you will die one day?
Are you so sure that death is the end? What evidence do you have for this?
@MamaChi oh god, Im the same way. I always thought it was normal to be absolutely crippled with terror every time I even thought about death or dying.
Its actually a little bit comforting knowing that other people are in the same boat as me.
I am also terrified. I think about it all the time. Even writing about it with now is a bit of a struggle. No possibility of what might be next seems to bring me any comfort. And it pours into other things too. It makes me scared to sleep (I have insomnia right now), it feeds into my depression. The only thing that helps is not thinking about it, but many times I can't seem to help but fixate on it. I wish I could be as nonchalant about it as normal people. I feel dumb getting panic attacks from something that will happen to everyone.
