@Kiwi9673
Are you okay? Are feeling like something set off your mood?
@JustAndreIGuess12 yeah I don't know what's different lately. I've been super on edge, emotional, anxious, depressed, started self harming again for the first time in 1.5 years just before thanksgiving. And I used to have these super elaborate crazy and usually terrifying dreams every night, then for the past 2 months or so they were gone but now they're back. Every morning I wake up and my brain is already gassed bc it was active all night. It makes it almost impossible to get out of bed in the morning and I can barely motivate to get over 1,000 steps in each day which is so bad. Like I'm not worried about watching my weight or anything but that level of being sedentary cannot be good for a 25 year old longevity wise. A year ago today I was in the best shape of my life. Now I haven't lifted a weight since March. I'm used to being a 4 season athlete.
@JustAndreIGuess12
to continue this response.. nothing has changed dramatically in the immediate past so I don't know why im rsuddenly so much more keyed up now when I've been on the same schedule since March working from home
@Kiwi9673
I think it's body and mind fatigue from stress. I know it happens a lot actually for people. If you're under a lot of stress relatively recently (even if it happened a while ago), then your body and mind will react a lot later on. It's a bit complicated to explain though...
I use to have the same thing though. I had suicidal thoughts and a crazy amount of stress. However, I got over it a while ago, but I still had a panic attack about two weeks after the fact. I wish I can tell you what it is called, but I can assure you that it is nothing life dangering.
However, if you still feel this for over a week then I recommend seeing a doctor just to make sure you're ok.
@Kiwi9673
Panic attacks are the worst though, so I understand where you're coming from
@JustAndreIGuess12 wow that's good insight.
I agree panic attacks are the worst!
this is different though. I just feel very on edge and like a pit in my stomach but there's no hyperventilating or tears this time around.
@Kiwi9673
Has anyone related to you experience the same thing? Or is this the first time you've ever seen/experience this?
@JustAndreIGuess12 my family doesn't really do emotional stuff. Like they're feeling stuffers. I've always been told I'm too critical and that I need to toughen up.
@Kiwi9673
Yeah, I don't believe the phrase toughen up. (⁀ᗢ⁀)
It doesn't really help you feel or get better, honestly. But that's just who they are and you can't stop that even if you tried. You should be fine if you take care of yourself. Make sure to eat some healthy foods to lower your stress. Eating healthy can cut cortisol (stress hormone) and adrenaline (hormone that increases heart rate). Eating/drinking less sugar, caffeine, and alcohol can help lower stress and fatigue.
Hopefully that helped a little...
Hii, I need major advice.
I have a friend that I've been close to for more than 3 years now, but for the past 6-7 months, she seems to be hiding everything from me. It's been making me really anxious. I've already been going through and dealing with my anxiety and depression for the last couple of months and having this on top of all that is really fucking me up. Lately, I've been feeling like she's using me, by asking me to constantly pick her up or only converse with me when it relates to school. What's been bothering me more is the fact that she talking about "secretive" things in front of me with my other friends but never addresses it to me, It really been making me feel like shit. I don't really know if I should talk to her about it or just distance myself?
This summer my family moved to another country. I didn't want that. I did not want to leave my friends and my home. I started having panic attacks. I was very worried that for some reason my classmates would make fun of me, I wouldn`t find friends, I wouldn`t be able to spend my free time cool. On Canada Drugs I read about good ways to deal with this. It was necessary to do breathing exercises, to understand that there is nothing terrible in moving. It really helped me. I have been in another country for half year, I have new friends with whom I have fun
