Advice needed.

I'm having a lot of anxiety at the moment and I just need to get it off my chest.

My boyfriend has had a convulsion at work and has possibly broken his shoulder when he fell. He is currently in the hospital waiting for tests and xrays.

The problem is I live about 65 miles away from him and I don't drive. I've sent some messages, but I don't feel like I can do very much from here. So I'm just sat here worrying about him and he's telling me not to worry but I can't help it.

Any advice on what I can say to him or what I can do?

Hi. It doesn't seem like there's much you can do. Not more than you've done. This might differ from person to person but I believe that people appreciate the smallest gestures as long as they are genuine and come from a loving place - not from a need to manipulate or prove something, but rather just pure, and genuine love and care. It goes a long way for me personally, and I've observed its the same for the non-manupulative individuals I know. We don't need grand gestures, we just need a full-hearted one. And we can usually tell the difference.

It's probably expensive or timely for you to head down to where he is. There's probably not much you can do for him at the moment than be there (not physically) and show you care, which you've done and are doing by checking on him. Once he's out, and you meet him, he'll see how much you care.

I'm sure he'll understand. If in doubt, talk to him. Ask him if he needs you there, if he's already said no, then you can relax and do what you do best i.e. care with the pure intentions the way you already do.

Hope your boyfriend is fine.
