All it Took Was a Noise Complaint
I got a noise complaint from a neighbor today. Usually my partner catches notes like that and takes care of them before I can read them to prevent things like these but today I was home alone and thought it was just an add posted on our door so I read it.
I didn't realize I'd gotten this bad until that very act has me currently curled up spiraling about how I am probably going to get evicted because of it, how I need to get rid of my dog if that happens... which made me think of how getting my dog has made my cats hate me now because I don't give them enough attention... which made me pile on the layer of how much of a disappointment I am ... which brought to mind my crappy familial relationships and has me worrying about the fact that my mother is visiting in two weeks, which means I need to make sure everything is clean and I'm not busy... which made me think of my classes and how I have so much to do there and what if I can't get it all done... and I have a big assignment that involves flowering plants and need to get samples, but what if when I go out its too late and they've all died and then I'll fail cause I didn't finish the project.
All of them... every last one are swirling around my head along with less-speakable worries about finances, relationships, and existence... I had thought that I was getting a little better with my anxiousness but I guess not. I have no clue what to do now. I was trying meditation, but it's hard to meditate when it just gives you the silence to think about all of the bad things that could happen even more.
@Rhapsi thank you for being so candid. That couldn't have been easy
It does sound like you have quite bad anxiety. Have you seen a professional about this? As not only is it stressful on you, but it's starting to affect your self-esteem. And you don't deserve that. I'm always just a message away if you need to talk
