Is it possible to feel anxious without your heart rate being elevated?

@Meguran5

Highly unlikely though not excluded...

However, during anciety or panic attacks, you "forget to breathe" simce you are "frozen" and for that brief time your heart rate lowers down...you get so preovupied and immersed in your anxiety thoughts or sofrozen by fear that you forget to breathe and your heart rate lowers which is indeed contradictory to usual high heart rate associated with anxiety or panic...

So very unlikely but it can happen...not all humans are the same...

@Meguran5 Increased heart rate is just one possible physical symptom of anxiety. Not everyone experiences an increased heart rate.

I actually looked up an article last night after I psoted this. It was difficult to find because of how uncommon it is, but I'll post the link for anyone who is interested.
