So do I. You should find a daily escape of reality. Wether it be a walk, a drive, a bath. Crank some tunes and drown out the thoughts for a short period of time everyday. I find it helps me
I feel like this all the time. I was in a loop with these feelings of helplessness and worry. Currently I am journaling and writing down my feelings. Positive affirmations helps me. I also chat with the listeners in this app. I also practice breathing techniques and breathing apps. I have been feeling a lot better thanks to all of these things. Also don’t overwhelm your mind by thinking about the future issues and handle things one day at a time.
Had frequent cases of anxiety attacks eventually ended up having to take meds. Been fine for quite some time. Had a mild attack a few days back. Im worried if about what would happen if i stop medications eventually. Would i be able to go back to how i used to be. Or atleast what i believed to be normal.
When you get anxious, do you have a healthy outlet to put it all in? Like a journal or something? I find that if we worry too much about the future, it makes our anxiety much worse. The key is to live right now in the moment, to let go of having control over something that might *not* happen. Try meditation, breathing exercises. Even a walk around the block helps sort out your head, any physical activity helps. Talking to others helps tons too. I do adult coloring, it helps you focus and it really does relax you.
