Anxiety from break up
Broke up with my boyfriend and regretted it. I was lying to myself about how much I loved him and was scared to admit how strong my feelings were. I went back to him a month later and told him how I felt and that he was the one. He said he cant get back to where we were and that he loves me but its not the same and he doesnt think we are meant to be. Its been two weeks since we cut communication off completely. Im having a very hard time getting over it and cant get it out of my head. I cant focus on anything and dont feel like doing anything. Im holding onto hope that he will reach out but I know thats not good. Any suggestions on how to get past this and heal my heart.

They say time heals but it never does if it was for real...it is a scar in your soul that you will have to learn to live with for the rest of your life...

Hi!! Im sorry to hear about this. I know it can be really hard. I will try my best to give you advice and motivatial words. For starters, we can look at what we have already.
Right now, you are going through a bad breakup. One thing that might help is to know that you arent alone. Millions of people go through this. Someones probably going through something similar the exact second you are! Thats how common it is. You know what else is common? Getting over this. Everyone gets over it. The best way? Time. Time and patience. Its okay to be depressed and confused right now. It will get better. Try to stay low key. Watch movies. Stay in bed. Eat tasty food. Also cry. Cry a lot. Let it all out. Just refrain from reaching out to him. Dont do it. Its tempting but its only gonna make it worst. Its one of the hardest parts. And its a process. So, cry a lot. Cry what you could have been. What you could have done. But always remind yourself that the truth is it could have never happened another way. There actually is no other way. Thats just hypothetical. Theres only one time happening and its the present day. There is not alternate universe so theres that. :)
Stay close and connected to loved ones and friends. And ofc, alone time.
Eventually, crawl out of sadness in small steps. Maybe just buy a new pair of earrings, new nail polish color, a finger ring. Something little. And put it on. Try to see a new side of yourself slowly. See this as an opportunity. An opportunity to explore yourself, new places, new guys ect.
maybe keep a diary or notes in ur phone to express yourself if ur at work or school.
to me, the hardest part is acceptance. Accepting that it is over. That you cant contact him. That a huge part of your life has changed. If you can accept he is no longer part of your life, that will make it easier. So focus on that and yourself.
Youll be alright :) I promise

I agree it is very important not to reach out to him. Do everything you can to refrain from trying to contact him. I cried a lot. I had a really close friend that I could talk to and that helped me more than anything.
