Anxious rn

I’m just feeling a lot of anxiety. I’m not sure specifically what it’s about but I think it’s mostly from my job. My job is making me anxious and stressed out. I feel anxiety so often and I think the main source of it is how stressful my job is. I think there are also a lot of other factors contributing to my anxiety, like health and money worries and things like that.

I’m just having a bit of a hard time and the anxiety is really stressing me out. It’s 4:30 am and I have to be up and working by 8:30 am today and I did nap a bit earlier but I’m worried that I am going to be exhausted later. I’m just feeling really anxious. I kind of want to just sit with my anxiety and feel it and not run away from it. I’m wondering if my avoidance of my anxiety is a big reason why it affects me so much and dominates my life so much.

I have a couple of books on anxiety that I want to read through because I think they have been helpful when I have looked through them. But I also think that maybe I need to focus on my anxiety more in therapy.

Anyways I’m just feeling really anxious. Having a hard time right now and really feeling it in my body. I can feel it in my stomach and in my head. I have a headache and also just feel a lot of anxious energy in my stomach and also in my legs. Mostly in my stomach, I think. I think I clench my stomach a lot to avoid my anxiety but maybe I should try to relax it and just feel the anxiety a bit. It’s a pretty overwhelming feeling though. When I tune into it and just feel it I feel like I want to scream kind of. I just have all of this energy in my body. And then I also have this headache, I can feel it in my temples and my jaw. And all over my head. Maybe I should sit with these emotions rather than trying to avoid them. It’s hard but I think I can do it. I’m going to try doing that for a bit and hopefully I’ll be able to fall asleep soon.

Hi I'm going through exactly the same thing its been 2months i feel completely burnout beacause of my job I was going to a job that is very stressful and that i dislike. I'm also thinking of changing my job because it literally made me sick mentally and physically. I went to the doctor and he gave me a few months paid leave from work so i can rest and take medication for my anxiety (i will also ask for an unpaid leave) because our health is so important and definitely a priority! I'm also trying to go out more in nature and trying meditation you got all my support you got this ♡

Hi there— Im sorry to hear that your job currently isn’t working for you. Most people don’t have an option to not work at all. I quit my job because of mental health. I’m so flipping determined to get my mental well-being under control before hunting for another job. But… I’ve been hitting a million road blocks and stump everyone. All crisis lines to the ED I tried to admit myself in voluntary.

Hey again— thanks for responding to my post earlier. Yeah… I get it. I quit my job because of my mental health, or for my mental well-being. But my mental well-being is ridiculous awful. I’m 25 and so dependent on my family. I have the personality that I don’t want to make others mad/feel bad. Well… I’ve made my parents mad to the freaking point, I need more support, mentally and emotionally. Confusing. I know. I’ve stumped everyone. Even the emergency department.
