Hi everyone

I'm here hoping people can give me advice on my daily routine. I suffered from a period of depression caused by anxiety, sad memories and past failures. they lasted about 6 years until I realized it was depression and isolated myself from the outside world. Now emotionally I'm a little better but starting to get sick with autonomic neuropathy.

don't know if anyone in the group has been in a similar situation to me? and can you give me advice on living, eating and mental health?

Thank you so much for everyone's help.

Hi! Counselling/therapy can really help, to talk about your memories, failures and anxiety. When we are well emotionally and mentally, this greatly improves our energy levels, blood pressure, digestion, nerve and body health in general. Are you still isolated? Glad to hear you are finding it a bit easier emotionally than you were. Feeling happy and joyful thoughts help a lot also. What things do you most love to do, or have you thought about doing?

Do you know what caused the autonomic neuropathy? Do you have a doctor/neurologist? There are medications and treatments, do you have access to these? One neurologist's site I saw recommends keeping well-hydrated, and no caffeine/sugar/alcohol.

I would also find lots of enjoyable meals with lots of good nutrition. Fresh fruits, greens, vitamins, minerals, healthy fats. Sea salt instead of table salt. If your digestion isn't good then it can help to blend foods first, so you absorb more. I am not a professional, that is just what I would do.
