Big Changes - Anxiety & Panic Attacks
I should also mention that I just ended a very exhausting and emotionally abusing relationship with my partner of 3 years (he’s an alcoholic). I was on a visa for 4 years in Australia and we were about to go on a de-facto visa when I realised I won’t survive if I stay with this person. Now I have to leave the country, basically starting from scratch in my home country again, saying goodbye to not only the relationship with my ex but also friendships I’ve made here and this beautiful country.
I‘ve always had bit of minor depression and anxiety but for a few weeks it’s been getting increasingly worse. I’ve been having panic attacks in the sense of bodily sensations overwhelming me when I’m out and about in the most random moments. I’ve lost my appetite a few days ago and even though I hear my stomach rumbling I can only eat a few bites before feeling nauseas.
I feel like I can’t function as I used to at this point in time but I want to so badly. I’m scared to leave the house even though I want to in order to spent time with my friends before I leave.

Hi Thoughts. I hope you are doing well! I am really sorry to hear that you have to move out of Australia, but happy that you are getting out of your abusive relationship! You deserve to be happy and I know you will achieve that one day! :)
Do you have family in your home country that you could lean on for support while you're readjusting to being there? Also, are there any options for going back to Australia on your own in the future? You don't have to permanently leave if there's a way you could go back!
In the meantime, I encourage you to possibly talk to your doctor or a therapist about how you're feeling. I know it may be scary, but it definitely will be helpful!
I'll be rooting for you and I know you will be okay! Your friends will be there for you any time! There's always FaceTime!! 💗
