Dating when you know it’s over
Being in a relationship when you want the other person so badly, but knowing that they know…. you aren’t their one….heartbreaking. Still together although we both know it’s more than over but neither knows how to approach it. I want him to find happiness, but also to cut the cord and let me go. The hurt is captivating and consuming. I’m sure some one else has felt this pain.

Hi Calm. I am really sorry to hear that you are in this situation. I'm sure it's not easy on you. Do you think you would be able to end the relationship? It seems like you know it's better for the both of you, even though it is going to be really hard. You both deserve to be happy and I hope you are able to sit down together and work things out. I feel like my gf doesn’t see me as her one. She says she loves me and likes being with me but also says we have different expectations and maybe we aren’t right for each other. It’s very hard …. I can empathize with you. I truly hope that things can work out for you both.
