Dealing with Panic

Hey everyone🌸

CW: parental issues, self-directed anger, panic

I'm trying to deal with panic - especially recurring surges of panic. I was 45 seconds late submitting an examination I'm so afraid of what is going to happen now as I await a response for my lecturer.

What's scariest though is if my parents find out this happened. They'll be livid and my mental health cannot handle that. I'm also struggling to not be immensely angry with myself. Every time I think about what I could have done differently, I get a surge of panic. I'm trying not to think about it but it's really tough. I feel very afraid and just needed somewhere to let everything out.

Thank you for listening❤

@SilverSappho

Hi there! Panic can be so difficult to cope with. Waiting to see what happens can be so terrifying. I can relate to having parental issues, and it can be so frustrating and make the panic even worse thinking about how parents will react. It sounds to me that you simply did your best. Red heart Thank you do much for sharing with us how you are feeling. I hope that the panic lessens soon
