Debilitating

I try to not let it get to me but my anxiety is so overwhelming. It affects every aspect of my life. My family relationships, my marriage, my relationship with my in-laws. I can't shop by myself in a new place. I can't drive. If I think something will make me uncomfortable then I feel sick for days before. The unknown is my biggest fear.

I've been trying to find a job to help my husband bring in necessary income but I have been unsuccessful. My bike recently got stolen, so my job search radius and radically reduced.

I just got a text asking if I will be at a job fair in a few days. I'm too scared to go but my husband would be so disappointed.

My anxiety is debilitating.

@Painfullyhurt21 I'm sorry that your anxiety seems to be taking over. I know first hand how frustrating it is to feel like it is coming inbetween your relationships or when it makes everything feel impossible and you feel bad for letting people down. I realize how late I'm responding and I'm sorry that no one responded sooner. This was a difficult time and you didn't deserve to go through it alone especially after asking for help.

I hope that since some time has passed, you have found yourself in a better place mentally. I hope going out doesn't scare you like it used to, I hope you aren't pressured to push yourself to hard to appease your partner and his family. I hope that your days are brighter and more fun. If not, I'm here to talk. Like I said before, I have dealt with this first hand. I understand. If you want someone to vent to or looking for advice I am here for either.
