DEFEAT ANXIETY PANIC & FEAR

Anxiety is like that voice inside screaming for answers n keeping your adreniline flowing to much. When i had anxiety attacks in the beggining 15 months ago they took full control of me, including my breathing. At first i couldnt figure out how to take back control so i ended up on hotlines, the ER, and inpatient a couple times. I know how debilitating they can be. After i started to learn what my triggers were, and then I concintrated on forcefully focusing on my deep breathing, and then a different understanding, i figured out how to get control back.

Anxiety is like fear, worry, and trying to hard. Fear/anxiety is like a thief that wants to steal our joy and control us. Once i identified fear as my enemy, i learned to defeat it. Fear sneaks in when our minds are allowed to wander: It comes in and robs us of joy like a criminal, but i found that purposely focusing on something puts the brain in gear so we are now controling our thoughts in a process. Start with closing your eyes and forcfully doing 12-15 deep slow forcful breaths; that simple focus combined with strong effort breathing is now in your control (like a real fight against the enemy "fear"), then after the breathing (which starts to bring you into the present moment) you open your eyes and take a few more breaths and reach out with both hands and grab 2 imaginary hands full of fear, then squeeze both hands into fists, close your eyes, and with each second you count in your head: squeeze tighter, 1, and 2 tighter, and 3 tighter, and keep squeezing tighter, and tighter until your crushing fear up the 15th count, Now open your hands and feel all the sensations as fresh blood rushes back into your hands and you can feel anxiety and fears leaving quickly and pleasurably out of both hands, and out of the tips of each finger, then open your eyes, now you have concintrated on this entire process which left no space in your brain for idle fearfulness. You won! You defeated fear! Grwat job! You chose to evict anxiety! You decieded fear isnt going to rent space in your head any more. You put in the real work took back control from that filthy thief, and your act of focus and breathing like a beast fighting! Youve discovered the true secret to beat anxiety. It took some practice, it took several very desperate sever anxiety attacks for me not to feel silly and go ahead and once i tried it, and went to battle with fear using this process ive been in control and anxiety free for a couple months. Now i have other serious depression related things i still deal with, but anxiety does not beat me any more!!

Blessings, Reed

I just woke up at 4:30AM with an absolutely scary anxiety. It feels like a spell was put against me. It's been an hour since I woke up and I'm begining to feel better, but It certainly has affected my outlook and started my day off with worries. Its been a while since I felt this panic. I'm thinking this happened because my health is bad, I'm having to move and dont have a definite place to mive lined up. Money is so tight I'm afraid to spend a penny because I already know Im going to need a lot more, and a lot of good luck to find a good safe positively energized place to live that I can have a chance to thrive to have health and happiness. This would be the worst time to digress back into having anxiety and depression flare back up.

I realize I've made a lot of progress with defeating anxiety. It was really hard this morning but I usually have a difficult start every day for tge first 45 minutes or so, and Ive been up over an hour now and already starting to get my thoughts heading toward positively picking up on solving my problems. Progress is encouraging: trust me. If you are reading this while having anxiety, I can tell you that your actively taking back control in a forceful way is the first step. Congradulate yourself for any progress at all, and you can reinforce what you are learning. Anxiety feels real, but its not anything but a mixed up pile of useless fear and worry in an unfocused mind running a muck.

Youve got this. You take back the wheel and steer yourself calmly towards progressing to any small accomplishments. Make your bed, then feel good about it 😊

A healthy meal, great! Chat with a friend.....there ya go, back engauging in your life and controling useless worry.

Counter-productive worry has no place in my life!

@Get outta here!

Sometimes defeating anxiety means letting it go, and simply taking care to eat, and plenty of sleep. It isnt always easy, but giving anxiety any respect at all is a big mistake. Anxiety tries to antagonize us into a fight, then weakens us by stealing our focus, depriving us from sleep, and then once we let it weaken us, it goes in for the killll.

Chose not to engauge. Choose self care, choose to hold on tight to your focus, and get rest, and a good meal to keep up your strength.

I feel much better now, as I chose to not let fake fears take away my focus or control
