Hi all I'm Laura and I'm just curious if this is just a Laura thing or if others do this?

So today I couldn't leave my flat at all like I wasn't in a sad or bad mood I just couldn't do it then I couldn't leave my bed except to go make some food which I did then I left it in my microwave for 6 hours until I felt able to eat it this is a new one on me but it wasn't good

@Skullandroseslover13
Until I got my dog, I wouldn't leave the house for days. I would skip class. I just couldn't move. I didn't want to leave my bed. Getting food was a task I only did maybe once a day and it definitely wasn't healthy. Now I have my dog, who is a service dog (sd) in training, i don't have a choice but to leave my bed. It's made a huge difference before I even decided to train him as a sd.

@Skullandroseslover13 - i think sadness, anxiety, depression, lack of motivation... all these things can cluster together and lead to the sort of apathy or kind of "frozen" behavior you are describing.

I think it's a sign that something in your life isn't how you need it to be and I'd wonder if there are even small changes you can make to your daily routine just to open up a little more space for what you do want?
