Driving
So I've been trying to learn how to drive so I need to practice, but whenever I try to drive I get really nervous and overwhelmed to the point where I am holding back tears, so then i get too scared to even get into the car and don't end up driving. Is there any way to that i can manage my nerves? or should i just push through and try to drive and hope i calm down? I really need to get my license

It is a matter of the mind...whenever you try to drive a car or ride a horse you have to think this:
"You are driving the car, the car is not driving you or you are not riding a car...You are driving the car not vice versa, you have control" As long as you realise that you are in control then things become easy and you will even bond with your cars and have fun...
Remember, you are doing the driving, you drive the car, you have control😉😊🤗😎...

Everything is hard at first for most of us, practice gives us confidence...It is normal to feel nervous in the begining with all the responsabilities and actions to take, then gradually with time tgey will become natural...I am sorry you shed tears over tgis, I did too and so did many others but then after years I laughed at myself for doing so😶 Best of luck with your driving permit🤗
@mysticalSerendipity thank you
im just terrified of making a mistake. I've driven before, like I've completed driving school but I haven't driven in months and now I'm too stressed, I've probably put too much pressure on myself
@lavenderCake569 indeed, you need to relax and trust yourself inside, as long as you are in control you can do things like I did in my life: avoid accidents from others because you can drive safely and even come to predict their wrong moves so you are one step ahead. The power and controls are yours...have confidence in yourself...

Use your learning sign on your car even if you don't have to, politely use ypur honk when feeling insecure (better let people know you are around with a slight honk), drive slowly and if you use a shift gear, use your clutch alot, don't worry if the clutch wears out, your safety and others is more important😉, so against instuctors advice, please use your clutch, it gives you control...
