Driving anxiety/resulting FOMO

It’s been an entire year at this point of me being too scared to receive my drivers license and it’s really impacting my self esteem/confidence. I’ve tried practicing and gotten into two minor collisions (hitting the curb and fender bender while going slow) that I never want to drive again. With the practice program I have, I’m supposed to finish the lessons and test before august 20 but it feels impossible. I also feel like such a loser because I can’t drive. Every single one of my friends can and it’s so easy for them to hang out with people. I feel like I’m missing out constantly.

@nassumingMapu4884 Hey, allow me to start by revealing that I'm an old-time driver, someone that drives in a safe way since I find driving very stressful. It's like an unscripted computer game with endless obstacles and distractions, while you need to handle it with an unfamiliar keyboard on a moving charge that its dimensions are unexpected. Yup, that is my experience :-)
At the same time, as an old driver, I can promise you that it is a skill, very complicated since you need to handle so many unfamiliar different issues at the same time, but it is just a skill, something that requires time and a clear mind to become familiar. There is no way to know where the car ends unless you scratch the bender a bit, either you keep it safe and have extra distance or wait for the bump. Some are faster to feel confutable than others, some are more coordinated than others, and some just have better luck.
The only danger is confusion and the lack of practice with incapability. As you have probably heard the elephants' rope story (If not just Google it, though it's a bit of A cliché, it's short and nice). Yes, it may take a bit longer, but I'm most certain that you are capable as any other driver.
