Fear of choosing a career
I am worried about my future career. I see a full day working and thinking I will be stuck there, what if I get panicky?
Now I am studying, which implies one or two classes a day then I can go back home where I feel safe. It has already forced me to change my major from all day classes of Occupational Therapy to one or two classes for Teaching. But in the long run, teaching will be a full time commitment and there might even be camps.
What do you currently do for income and how do you cope?
@Meriridescent Hello! I hope you are doing well! I totally understand the stress about choosing a career, but it's important to remember that there is no rush! Life is full of choices and you will know when you found the right career! College is a time for exploring so take a lot of different classes and see what interests you! I am hoping to go for genetic counseling and this is my 3rd time applying. It's been hard, but it's what I really want to do! I hope you are able to find what suits you best!❤️

Hello there!
Moving from school to work sure can be scary! I think it's best to remember all the little things that you learnt in school and apply it to work.
Also, most importantly remember to be yourself always! Your colleagues will love you and you will be excellent if you are truly you.
I have been a happy medical scientist for over 5 years now!
