Fear of losing loved ones.
I have been scared of my family dying for a while but only recently has it gotten worse to point where I worry about it just about everyday. And I don't know what to do I just want to be able to spend time with my family and be present in the moment and not be worried. I think the fear has gotten worse because of the pandemic and a few months ago my dad had a problem with his heart but his heart seems to be okay now.
@resourcefulLime135 It seems that the fear of losing your loved ones is causing you anxiety especailly during the pandemic which makes sense. I do not think this fear is completely bad because by being aware that you may lose your loved ones, you are less likely to take them for granted which some people often do.
I also have this fear as my parents are slowly aging more and more and there's not an easy answer but for some people and myself, it helps to accept the fear and not try to get rid of it. Another thing that "may" help is trying to work the fear as gratitude by realizing that they could die anyday, it is also a a blessing for them to be here with us today
But if all else fails, the community here is very welcoming and you could share more about your feelings and thoughts
