Feeling lost
I feel lost like I’m backed into a corner. I’m unhappy with where my life is going and regret not taking past opportunities. I feel like I’m not capable of communication anymore as my mind is filled with negativity that I don’t want to share with anyone.
Sorry to hear about feeling like that. I think that just about everyone has regrets. No one is perfect, we all have choices we wish we had made different. 20/20 hind sight as they say. If I knew more then maybe I could give more meaningful advice but I think the typical advice for being it of negativity is to focus on the good things in life and look forward to potential good things in the future. Try looking at things in different light. Like just recently I got bent outta shape about a someone else choices. After a short while I figured I didn't want to be mad and I could just talk with the person. I apologized for disagreeing and explained my view and they did the same and things ended up alright. I was glad I took a second look at my position and decided to be friendly instead of mad. Different emotions and situation but maybe there's something there to say about questioning our initial judgements, and exploring other options if we take a different view it position or judgement. Not sure if that's helpful. I hope it is. Wishing you good times ahead.
There will be plenty of more opportunities for you in life. Try not to dwell on the past, or in that negativity. It's a toxic mindset which is feeding into keeping you feeling alone. Try to remember you aren't alone. There's a whole world of people out there, there's people who care about you and who want the best for you. If you feel trapped in a corner, let's help you find the strength to create a new path in any direction which you choose. To start with, I suggest you see a therapist. Other than that, I can suggest self-improvement, meditation, learning new skills and crafts, and doing things that are relaxing, fun and enjoyable for you. Try to take care of yourself and treat yourself like you would treat anyone else you cared a whole lot about. If you make some small positive steps every day you'll be surprised at how much can change for you given some time and growth. I think everyone has been there with the dark thoughts, I know that I have. But it's like an echo chamber of negativity. It just keeps you trapped and feeling horrible and pathetic. You don't have to buy into that, or give it the time of day. Try distracting yourself with something more positive and meaningful. If you ever need us we're here for you.
Hey love. I've felt that way before too. That was one of the reasons why me and my ex separated. Because he was treating me bad and blaming me for sharing my pain with him. But then I realized that it was him that was wrong because he was supposed to be there for me and he wasn't. That's why I'm better off alone. However I sometimes still feel like I'm a burden and the my feelings aren't valuable, but deep down I know that's not true. And yes not! It's really difficult to find people who truly support you and understand but I promise they exist. Also, in order to overcome your fear, you must face it. It is scary at first but once it's gone you can see the beauty in life. And regret is one of the worst feelings in life. You must never forget that you have to forgive yourself in order for others to forgive you and God too if you will. You didn't do something because you didn't feel like it or because you were too scared to do it and that's okay. You just have to go one step forward next time. It's never too late. Never!!! Take care❤️
