Feeling weird

Whenever I'm feeling anxious I can only describe it as feeling weird, to anyone else that doesn't have anxiety they do not understand when I simply say 'I feel weird'. Does anyone else get this? When extremely anxious I feel like I am not myself, sometimes out of it, like the world isn't real or like I could die at any point. Health anxiety is my biggest problem which is why the physical symptoms of anxiety really send me into a major panic. Arms or legs going numb... I convince myself they're going to go dead which would result in amputation. Or a numb face or tongue feeling strange... I convince myself I'm having a stroke or I might choke on my tongue. I also suffer from 'brain zaps' when in a anxious state which can only be described as little shooting pains at the back of my lower head... When this first happened you can only imagine the state I got myself into. Also, does anyone else know deep down that they are overreacting and they will be fine but somehow just can't suppress the thought that something is majorly wrong even when we know it is not. The mind is so powerful and I am slowly starting to gain control over it. Does anyone have any tips in particular for gaining control on ur mind and what to do when health anxiety or a panic attack strikes. I'm only 18 and I can tell that if I don't learn how to deal with this problem it will quickly take over my lif
