Friends
Just reaching out here to see if anyone has advice. I lived with a girl for two years and we got pretty close and I got used to talking everyday and having an active part in her life. We recently moved out in September for her to move in with another friend and me to move in with my fiancee. We don't talk as much as we used to, and sometimes I feel ignored, but we like each other's socials and I know I'm feeling anxious bc I'm unemployed and lonely but can anyone offer some advice on this?
Fyi she is a cancer and I'm a Leo (known to be dramatic at times lol)

From my own experience with some people I know they find it hard to keep frequent contact with someone if it isn't in person, but they don't mean anything bad by it, it's just a communication struggle. So for the people I know, some of them get super busy, and by the time they have free time they're tired and sending messages can be too draining for them, so if I'm not seeing them in person it can be hard for them to reach out. Or I know other people who find texting very anxious to do, they worry that they are bothering people. But then when I do get a chance to meet up with them it's like nothing changed. Sometimes those friends are too anxious to message first. There could be lots of possible reasons, but I understand why you might be feeling anxious about it. Talking to them could be a good idea, clear communication always helps.
Thank you this helped! If they find it hard to reach out is there anything I can do to help them? In the past she has responded best when I let her come to me. I've also come to realize she's my only friend where I live, and it wasn't so bad when we lived together since we were right next to each other. I felt very fulfilled and content. But now that the situation changed I feel more lonely. I am trying to make more local friends, but it is quite hard to make friends as an adult.
