Friend said she
My friend said shed support me through my tough time but when I message her to see how she is feeling etc shell say how she is and thats just it.
I dont have anything back like how are you? What are you up too?
Its all one sided, yet I keep it close to me because shes my ONLY friend and shes important to me. But how do I get on in the day when Im desperately wanting to just have a normal conversation with her not one sided? Xx
@TinkerCat28 Unfortunately you may have to reassess your relationship with her. If it's really one-sided and she doesn't ask how you are, is it *really* a friendship?
You can't change people. If she doesn't make the effort despite you being there, she may be passively aggressively trying to tell you something and/or only said she'd be there because it was what you needed to hear in the moment and not something she intended to actually do.
I am sorry she's not a very good friend.
