Health Anxiety
I have always had an issue with anxiety, but I have pretty good coping mechanism. However a few years ago I decided to go back to school and during that time my coping mechanisms failed and I went into depression. I vowed that I would never let that happen again and last week my husband pointed out that I was over thinking things a lot (even more than usual). So here is a break down of my last two months:
I gave birth back in September. My husband and I never wanted our own kids and I had no desire to parent so I placed my son for adoption. There were some issues at birth and both my baby and myself were sick (we are both good now). Well, shortly after being released from the hospital I started having chest pains. My doctor realized that my gallbladder was giving me issues so I had to have it removed. Plus I have had two migraines since giving birth. I have had migraines before but maybe once a year. The last migraine I had was a vestibular migraine and now I am afraid to travel long distances by my self in fear of having another attack. I also worry about traveling and eating on the road (at restaurants).
I constantly find my self saying what if? I feel like this may be due to how sick my son and I were. There was no indication that anything was wrong right up until I delivered- it was at that point that everything got crazy. I find my self blaming myself for him being so sick at birth.

Hi there,
there are layers upon layers here IMHO. The is absolutely no doubt in my mind that you would benefit from face to face therapy, and for some time.
My own preference is for anything but CBT or NLP. That's because they are goal centred approaches, and at present you have little insight into what's going on, again imho.
I could be wrong, but even if I am, you will feel loads better after six months or so.
