@secretLime1208 I've done the same. Some nights it seems like every bad memory or thought comes up. I get you.

I find that it helps to have a pre-bedtime routine and to shut off social media after a certain hour. It's also helpful if I make sure I practice self-care: eating/drinking enough, getting in my exercise, being kind to myself, etc. It doesn't totally prevent it but it helps.

@secretLime1208

I went through the same thing every night.

I still do sometimes. I noticed the more stressed you are, the more often that occurs.

You can Google thinking when trying to sleep.

Maybe something similar.

There's plenty of websites that talk about the subject.

According to one of them - we don't have a lot of time and space during the day to process everything's that's happened while we were awake. Until you get to bed, when you're laying there with no distractions but your own brain.

The common helpful tips that I've heard -

Clear your thoughts before bed.

Write down \ type your thoughts.

Get out of bed for a little while.

Try your best to preserve the thoughts for a more appropriate \ planned time.

Typing my thoughts definitely helps me. When I get out of bed during the night, I color in an adult coloring book with gel pens.

Another little thing that helps me that might help you - doing a lot of exercise \ movement during the day that way you get knocked out right away at night. cheeky
