Helplessness and Overwhelming responsibilities

Fearing that I may not be able to fulfill all my responsibilities plus my personal goals. When the people around me think that I'm an overachiever and it makes me reluctant to share my worries. Feeling helpless to change my situation. Still working to get better and restore myself.

Yes there are times when we fear about our responsibilities and personal goals of life. In your case, when others around you think that you can achieve what you want and more than that makes you feel hesitent to share how you actually feel. I guess you are afraid that they won't believe that you feel worried about these when they think you have the capability. This can be hard but as humans there are moments when we really need to share how we actually feel instead of keeping it all inside to hurt. If they won't listen to you, we are here for you <3 I'm sure sharing how you feel will help you a lot and you can do that here anonymously. Best of luck and hope for the best! :)

@specialEyes53

This is the best community ever. It feels good to be around people who understand and have been there.

I am also overwhelmed with personal responsibilites in addition to my depression and anxiety.

I have a very stressfull job, I'm divorced, and I'm supporting my two children. One of my two children is turning 18 in a couple weeks and has special needs.

We're not alone.
