Hey, I
Hey, im new to this.
Im a 27 year old male, UK, with a son and beautiful girlfriend!
2 weeks ago I was working, and felt uneasy (lightheaded, heart was feeling odd, hot etc) with no specific trigger at the time. I went to A and E and the doctor did some tests and said my hearts fine and that I may have experienced a panic attack. I didnt think much of it at the time.
then, over the next week, it just got worse and worse, I kept having attacks, and just worrying about worrying and I dig myself in a real hole. Went out with my family for my birthday for dinner and I walked out the restaurant in tears as I couldnt cope with sitting there (and I didnt know why). Anyway after several hospital trips etc, still anxiety is the answer doctors were giving.
Ive got a therapist, had my first session yesterday, explained anxiety and what it is and that alone made me feel better, I just wish doctors explained more about it the first time; rather than prescribing pills that made me feel worse.
Im in a better place right now after these past 2 weeks, but I seem to have developed some health anxiety. I have this permanent kind of, overthinking, dizziness (but not like seriously dizzy, just a weird sort of feeling), and my stomach doesnt particularly like me at the moment either.
The feeling in my head is the one I struggle with most, this kind of dizziness, do other people get this? How do they manage it (Ive been assured its not a brain tumour by the doctor). Thnj
