I am the worst
At the beginning of the relationship with my boyfriend i cheated on him because he wasn’t treating me well and i made a conclusion that i mean nothing to him. But then the relationship got serious, so i told him everything in December and now my life is hell. He is trying to forgive me, but sometimes he attacks me and tries to dig up the details, which is only hurts us both and doesn’t help. I am genuinely sorry but i feel so helpless and miserable. I stopped having fun in life because i feel like i don’t deserve jt. I also never know when is the next time we are gonna fight about this so it’s like at the mine field. I am just so exhausted.
I'm in the same situation as you, trying to forgive my boyfriend for cheating. The best would be to tell him, that you're really trying to be with him and that he should try to stop bringing up the past if he wants it to work. He can't change the past, he can only accept it and move on. I think he would like to see that you're really sorry, it takes a lot of time, nerves and trust. He needs to build trust to you again. Please be patient, but show him how much it hurts you when he's bringing up the past. If he can't start accepting the past and live with it, he should leave. You also might not see change in his behaviour, but trust me it takes a hell lot of pain to handle a cheating partner. small steps.
