I don't feel "right."

I've posted a lot about my relationship anxiety since I joined this website. I believe I have GAD and it tends to focus in certain areas at times, when it gets very bad. The first time, it was my health, and this time it was my relationship.

So my anxiety has been pretty constant for the past couple of months. It's been very high, I've had physical symptoms every day. Cold feeling throughout my body, tension in my chest, stomach issues. Couldn't eat much for a while. There have been some panic attacks, and lots of crying. The anxious thoughts seem to be calming down, though not completely gone yet.

And while a lot of it seems to be improving, I'm having a new issue. As the title says, I just don't feel quite "right." I feel out of it and I just don't feel like myself. I just feel off. Does anyone know anything I can do to help this?

@sporkchop I've had the same problem as you and unfortunately I'm not really sure how I got rid of it. It just went away eventually. As for panic, keeping a panic diary always seems to help me but as for that weird feeling, I think you might have to wait it out. Do you get a disconnected feeling along with it? Like do you feel like everything is far off or you start feeling numb without actually being numb? (It sounds weird but there really isn't any other way I can describe it)

@MoonOrchid Yes, it's definitely a disconnected feeling. It's kind of like I'm just going through the motions. And even though you don't know how to fix it, it's good to know that I'm not alone. I really just want to feel "normal" again. My normal is still kinda stressed and sad, but it's better than this. =P

@sporkchop Glad to help in any way I can. Hang in there and I'm sure it'll pass, maybe try setting a new daily schedule or make weekly plans with a friend to spice things up a bit! laugh

What were some things you liked doing, before all this anxiety and tough times? It sounds like you have ''lost'' yourself in a way, so maybe revisiting an old passion or interest could help you feel ''normal'' again. Or maybe talk to a friend you haven't talked to in a long time, pick up a book that you really like and read it all over again, or rewatch a show. Go for runs, spend time with yourself, make time and space for relaxation and self reflection.
