I don't like being inside

One thing I'm finding hard to understand about my anxiety is that sometimes I really hate being inside, in my room. Like I feel it's so stifling and just feel ten times better being outside, taking a walk, being under the sky, etc. I just moved into a new place about three weeks ago, so I'm wondering if this kind of goes with that weird transition phase when someone moves, but I don't know. I just know that whenever I open the door to my apartment room...my anxiety kind of spikes a bit and I feel afraid and I can't stand being alone in a silent room.

So it's like the opposite of agorophobia?

@mimameid

That's not good moving can be hectic and a real pain I hate moving but once I get use to the house I'm fine you probably have to get use to it if you just recently moved in your apartment you have to get use to the area to the building and you said you don't like being alone in silence try making your apartment a bit more comfortable for your anxiety like things you love flowers colourful pictures pillows on your couch anything that makes you feel comfortable at home also try putting music on to relax your body and calm it down a bit if you haven't been at that apartment for long your body is still getting use to the surrounding's once your use to it you should be fine but in the mean time try things that make you feel comfortable and things that calm your anxiety down add colour to your apartment cause that can sometimes help to good luck and all the best hope you'll be alright :)

@mimameid Maybe it'd help you to put some color and life to your room. Rearrange your things, play some cheerful music, open your window, put fruit on display :)
