I feel so bad
Idk I just need to rant because I feel so bad. I was commenting on a post on social media and I ment to say that I agreed with the person. Basically this guy was getting hate for standing up for himself and people of color and I said that you should stop being ignorant and realize hes right. And I ment to direct it at haters and the person who made a reaction to the guys vid was like "did you watch the video" and I didn't relize till after how bad I worded it sounded like I was directing it at them and making it sound like I said they were ignorant and now I feel so fucking bad and I kept apoligizing and like I feel so fucking stupid and horrible and bad and they haven't responded either which makes it worse and I just feel like absolute shit now and like a dumbass. Sometimes I regret fucking speaking like I feel horrible >_<. I like want to keep saying sorry and explain myself but I feel so fucking dumb and I literally want to delete my account now like I feel like a piece of shit. I ment to say the haters were ignorent for not seeing that the person was saying facts but insted it came out the compelte wrong way and like I just wanna curl up and cry >_<.

I'm sorry that you were feeling that way. I'm also sorry that you didn't get a response before now. I am no stranger to social anxiety and Ihave been guilty of beating myself over mistakes. But we need to remember that is exactly what they are: mistakes. People might have been angry and defensive at first when they read your comment because they didn't know your intentions. I'm sure they stopped responding after you explained yourself because they felt like that the end of the conversation. There was a misunderstanding, you corrected it, and they moved on.
Take care of yourself and try to remain understanding. You made a mistake and that's human nature. We aren't all perfect. As long as you corrected that mistake that's all that matters. And bonus points: you learned a new way to phrase your words so they are more clearly expressing how you feel! That will hopefully avoid potential mistakes in the future.
I understand this very much because I used to have the same kind of reactions once. Now it's going better. Not good, but better, and let me tell you, this reaction, these emotions, all that guilt and shame are HUUUUGELY disproportionate. No one expects you to feel like that for what happened. Right. What happened? Let's analyze it more objectively. I think here you're doing something that I'm a pro at: you take alllll the blame and assume that since you could do something better, then you're at fault and others are completely right. BUT. What would you do if you red a post that is unclear? You would leave it or ask clarification. Instead who red was biased by all the hate they were receiving and attacked you without being sure about what you meant. So you didn't notice your intentions were unclear, and the others made incorrect assumptions. Do you know the emmenthal theory? When you put 2 emmenthal slices together (2 people cooperating for an interaction for ex) the holes (mistakes) in one slice will be compensated by the cheese on the other slice. If the 2 slices happen to have a flaw in the same place, there comes the hole (mistake). Often a mistake is not completely a single person's fault, remember that. Also you sound a very caring and open minded person, and those two are very good and valuable qualities :) you doubt sound stupid at all, bad wording happens all the time, once you made what you meant clear, the others should be able to understand and go on, if they're not, they have a problem. Last thing: the very reason you wrote is that there were people who REALLY meant to post hateful comments, you can't be worse than them. I think you can't even be compared. The world is lucky to have you compensating for all the hate that some throw around freely 💖
I won't read back this post. If I sound stupid, so be it. I hope the message got through
