I hate the Internet. Don't you?
I hate the Internet. It makes me question what's really going through the minds of people I know in person.... so much hosility, so much hatred for innocent things, things that make people smile, little kids getting picked on for being children, "special-snowflake" tossed back and forth in relationship to mental illness... it makes me question people's personalities. Can we actually trust?? I'm not so sure.
Sorry this is short. My eyelids are closing and I'm finding it hard to stay awake. Feel free to expand on this point. Express yourselves..

The internet is a very neutral place, being a computerised world where anything is possible. However it is being abused more and more. Cyberbulling is a real thing. Teenage exploitation is also real. The places we think we feel safe, like facebook and twitter, can be the most dangerous places of all.
But dont worry there are safe places, and you have found a safe place here today.

I completely understand how you feel. I found myself being bullied by people in a support group. I was banned from some places because the online trolls made a false accusation against me and I went somewhere else and they followed me there. I am still being bullied and almost banned there as well.

I am constantly worry about what someone has posted about me. No one know who I am. I posted an experience and asked for some advice without thinking it would cause me to be bullied. That continued to cause me to be bullied. I constantly cry because of how much hate there is. It all started with a online therapist who had her own youtube channel and website and had allowed all the gay people to bullied me and there is nothing that I can do about the bullying because the therapist husband own the website.

I made a mistake and respond to an article and was bullied so when I left the article and came back at a year later people had said some really horrible things about me that were hurtful. Name calling, hope of self harm false accusation.
I hate social media so much. My worst enemy. I wish I could just give up this shit. But the internet in general is OK.

I completely agree! My son is due in 2 weeks and it honestly is terrifying what kind of a world he will have to grow up in. It is awful the things that you see on the web anymore.

I completely understand how you feel because I feel this way myself. The internet is suppose to connect us to other people but instead it cause us to be victim of bullying. So many people lose their life because of the online trolls.
