I'm not enough.

I don't know anything about Anxiety, and I don't want to self-diagonose. But something has be making me feel like this.

Let me start from the beginning; I have always tried my hardest to just be enough. I've always worked for my better future-- to get far, to aim big.

So, that's what I did. I studied, I took harder classes, I skipped hanging out with friends and making memories just so I could be better for school.

I've always been will-driven, I've always found motivation to fight and to keep fighting for that future.

But, now? Now, when I am so close to the finish line, I'm losing the fight. Everyday, it's hard to focus on one thing when there is so much happening. I have clubs to attend, homework, finals, midterms, tests/quizzes, and so much other things due.

There shouldn't be enough time to get it all done, but I find a way.

Before, I would be able to juggle all of that normally.

Now, I find it hard to get out of bed, all while knowing I am just procrastinating my work...which furthers/ruins my whole "I don't have enough time" argument.

But, I just can't help but feel like I'm not enough. I take my ACT and my SATs, and it's not enough. I try so hard in classes, and it's not enough.

I've been crying a lot more as of recently, too, and I can't help it. I cried in my car twice this month, and several times in my room.

Ive noticed a pattern in my eating as well-- I just can't stomach a whole meal anymore, until one day in a week, I just won't be able to STOP eating, like I haven't had enough.

I don't want to stop fighting, or even give up, but I can't take it anymore. I just feel so overwhelmed, and no one has bothered to look my way and lend me a hand. I don't know what to do.

@Reese87 Hi. It sounds like you work so hard and sacrifice so much. What happens when you reach the finish line? Are you asking, is this all? Hard work and achievement are all fine and good. Be proud of your achievements. But maybe take 30 minutes to sit still where it can be quiet if possible and just concentrate on what your body feels like breathing in and out. If your mind wonders to the tasks you must finish, tell those thoughts, ok but not now. Now I want to know what it means for me to be alive at this second, and this next second, and not worry about the past and the future for just this 30 minutes, for just this second, because I am not a machine, I am not a collection of accomplishments. Your thoughts will be insistent, but kindly remind them gently, no I know you want to think, plan, worry, just not now dear brain, for this short time I will just be me. This is an act of self love sweetie.
