Im not really sure what im feeling
Hello everyone, I'm in a need of help.. Or advice from the working people or anyone really. I've just been feeling really ..all over the place lately I don't even know what it is. I'm a 23 yo female, freshly out of university. And have been in the working world for about a year now. My first job was a 12 months contract at a big company and I'm gonna be honest it sort of destroyed my health, physically and possibly mentally. I didn't take a break at all I jumped into the job straight after my last examination thinking it would be worth the experience. And I was so wrong. I was already so tired from my final year project. Then the pandemic hit on the 4the day I started work. Lockdown happened at the end of my first week. The training I received were all online based but it just wasn't the same as face-to-face training. Online can cause miscommunication and cause mistakes to be made. I made a bad impression my manager which caused them to micromanage me. I get scolded pretty much everyday, people constantly chasing me for reports. I had to do overtime almost daily till 10/11pm (I start work at 9am) it was overall exhausting. On my 7th month I could see visible changes on my body and my mood. I lost 15 kilograms in a month and I just snap at anyone talking to me. My health deteriorated to the point I quit my job on the 10th month. I felt like a complete failure for quitting the job but I just hated my job so much that I couldn't take it. I took a break, and recently I took another contract in the same company but for a different position. I want to do better but I keep getting this feeling of dread and uneasiness whenever I get calls and emails. My heart rate just goes up and I feel nauseated. This feeling doesn't go away, it still lingers when I'm trying to sleep. It's getting a little annoying but I don't know why I feel like this y friends said it sounds like anxiety but I don't know I'm not a psychiatrist or habe I been to one. Have you guys experience this or am I the weird one? Is this normal how do I control it.
@Russclan I can understand how stressful that experience was, I am sorry to hear that you went through that. Since you know yourself the best and understand everything you went through, I wouldn't be able to try and judge what it is you are experiencing however, there is really great information out here that, just in case you haven't come across it yet, I will leave links to: https://www.7cups.com/anxiety-help/
