Imposter Syndrome
I recently started a new job. I am experiencing mild anxiety around being able to do the job. Today only marks Day 4, so I am allowing myself some grace and they keep telling me that I won't feel fully confident until at least 6 months in. I just feel like I may not be able to do this job to the best of my ability and to the best of what they want me to be. I don't know. I just worry if I will be able to handle all of the demands.

hey!
starting a new job can be an anxiety inducing experience for many. it's okay if you're nervous and unsure of yourself at the moment, it will definitely take some time to get used to. over time, you will certainly feel more confident. if you're worried that you won't be able to meet all the demands, that's okay. but ask yourself the opposite. what if you exceed the expectations? what if you do better than any other employee? what if you learn some amazing, new things and meet people? what if this is the best decision of your life?
i know it's not easy to stop negative thinking, but it's possible. i believe in you, and i know you can do this. but it all comes down to one thing: do you believe in yourself?
