Insomnia

I haven't been able to sleep almost at all for a week now and I have been feeling extremely overwhelmed. My bf and I separated(again) which has also been painful. I have been having mild hallucinations and delusions but I assume it's because of the sleep deprivation

Hello, sorry to hear about the insomnia and stresses. One technique that might help is to visualize putting all your troubles in a box. And then setting that box adrift on a river current and watching it float away from you. You can address that stuff sometime in the future when you feel like it. But now just put the worries away, all of them, and watch them serenely float away and relax. Wishing you restful, rejuvenating sleep.

Well, sleep can be elusive for sure. What helps me is 250mg of Magnesium around “bedtime” and it really helps. You deserve someone who respects you each and every day. Night

I have blood pressure problems and I could actually die taking them. I have atarax which is sometimes used as a sleeping pill but it's stronger than xanax and I don't wish to take any of it

I understand you. I also broke up with my boyfriend this summer. I started having stress and insomnia and it had a bad effect on me. On Canada Drugs I read that these are not big problems in comparison with others, it is necessary to continue further and to release the person. I also read that you need to exercise regularly, take antidepressants, spend more time with friends, listen to fun music. After 2 weeks I got much better and I'm happy!
