Just me
I had my first panic attack in a long time last night over something small that turned out to be worse than I expected. I feel bad for turning the whole situation around on myself instead of what was actually happening. It was by far one of the worst ones I’ve had. Should I talk to my doctor about medication if I’m taking medication for other things like depression and bipolar?

When I am going through a tough time where I am struggling to cope, I usually go to my house doctor and ask him for a temporary script, just to get me over the peak/take the edge off. My house doctor know's my history and medication that I am taking and he knows I have Bipolar.
Even if you have to go to an unknown doctor, for what ever reason, so long as you inform him of your diagnosis as well as the medication that you are on, he will be able to assist you with something short term that should not interfere with your current medication. He'll verify the drug interactions for you, just be absolutely sure to mention all the medications you are on. I've even found that my local pharmacist assists in this by letting me know when a combination of medications that I am taking sounds dubious.
If the matter persists though and is affecting your daily life severely, you need to speak to your prescribing doctor/psych as the matter might need attention and/or your medication might need adjustment.
