Life Anixety

Firstly, part of my anxiety comes from my job. I am often going above and beyond to make sure everything is going smoothly at my job. My other coworkers dont do much other than stand around and talk because they know I will do all of their work for them. My managers and supervisor know this, but refuse to address the problem to my coworkers. I am constantly overwhelmed with work and always stressed out. Im not quite sure what to do. I make decent money and have considered finding a different job, but other jobs wont pay as much. I feel under appreciated and resentful towards my coworkers and management. I feel as though no one listens to me and that Ill be stuck in this situation forever.

Secondly, my boyfriend and I have decided to move in together. Im very excited but scared at the same time. His family is moving to another state and he is staying here, so he basically has a deadline to move. I feel like I dont know much about what is going on and he doesnt seem to know much either. Im scared we wont be able to move out in time. I dont know how to put my mind at ease and just worry about these things when they happen.

Any advice will be appreciated and thank you to anyone who took the time to read my post.

Wow sounds like alot of transitions going on, lots of deadlines to meet and its all just building up from there.

How can you ask your co=workers to help participate in tasks by breaking them down so everyone contributes to something. I am sorry that your not being heard, you have so much worth.

@HalaymaKhatunDiplomaCounselor thank you for your response. Ive asked for help before with a project I was assigned, but basically had to beg for only two people to volunteer to help. We have monthly meetings with my supervisor and sometimes I think about bringing it up there, but he always says he knows I do more than the rest. I wish it wasnt just shrugged off sometimes.

@kayla21094

On your job situation I want to ask you this: what weights more ? Money or well being?

I know your situation really requires money, but be kind to yourself. Is better to move to another job that pays less and you can work your way to the top, than to feel miserable and unhappy and have alot of money.

Life is too short. Live fully and happily.

Best of luck.

@Booklover95 thank you for your response. I do think my well being means a lot more. I always tell myself that I need to start taking better care of myself, but then do the opposite. Youre exactly right. I should probably start looking for a job that appreciates me and one where I will be happier.
