Lost
I am at a loss.
I recently 'moved' to Texas, alone, to live on a friend's property. They have a really nice area that they are letting me sleep in. But I have to take care of their gardens, yes gardens. There is just so much I am expected to do, that when something goes wrong; I don't know what to do. I don't have a license, and they live 10 miles away from the closest town, their town has less than 2,000 people. In the about three weeks that I have lived here, they have been here about at most 3-4 days. I have been alone for over half the time, and as someone who doesn't like to be alone all the time, I am starting to feel depressed. Then the kitten I just got was killed on Tuesday, I came home to find her right by the fridge. Their dog had done it by accident, and that was the straw that broke the camel's back.
I am visiting home on Friday the 4th, and I am thinking about just staying home. I do not want to make my friends here upset, but at what cost to me? I miss my dog, my family. I hate feeling at a loss, I have no idea what to do.

Best honest with your friends. Tell them how you feel and I'm sure they'll understand or maybe help you with your problem. It's best not to give up hope!
