Lost my job
I lost my job. I live with my family who are coming back in town Friday. I feel sick just thinking about telling them. Dad can be especially harsh. I talked to a listener, but they just told me I wasnt focusing on the root of the problem; that I need to assert myself and not let dad monologue me to death.
The whole situation makes me sick, and I want to sleep, run away, and/or hide under my blankets.

I'm really sorry to hear about your job. That is hard enough to deal with and then the pressure of having to break the news to others doesn't make it any easier.
