Managing work anxiety.
I've been heavily procrastinating working on my business since I started it. I have a few clients that I work with continuously but, for the most part, I don't seek out new work.
I was doing okay with my anxiety and had been going strong with my talk of wanting to ramp up business. In my mind I knew I would probably fizzle out of my motivation soon but tonight one of my previous clients came back and now I have more work than ever and only myself to do it. I feel like I don't know which way is up, much less how to get all my work done.
How do you manage your anxiety with work?

Hello there! Working on your own business sounds like a very challenging idea because you are your own boss. It can be really difficult to keep that motivation up all the time. It especially can feel a lot different from when we started with the initial idea. No wonder you are really anxious.
As you mentioned you already have been working alone then it makes sense why you wouldn't accept new clients or seek out new work.
Managing anxiety at work would be somewhat different for everyone. Because there are various types of work and expectations and also how the person handles those situations and what mechanisms they are equipped with already to cope with it. I guess some more customizable option would apply in your situation. One of the things you mentioned is the workload. Do you think your anxiety would be different if your workload was a bit less? Are there any other factors which add to your anxiety directly? If there are, how would you try to reduce those factors so they aren't as effective in increasing your anxiety?
