Moved to a new city, lots of panic attacks

I recently moved to a new city, very far away from all my friends and family due to my work. Because of the lack of connection, I’ve been feeling very uncomfortable, and scared that something bad will happen to me if I’m not careful. My anxiety has been negatively affecting my sleep, my body weight, and I also feel guilt because I keep telling my friends and family I’m fine (I don’t want them to worry). I’m living in a lot of fear, and I don’t want to feel like that anymore.

Getting acquainted to new friends, setting up a burglar alarm, and having a dog pet might help.

I completely understand what you are saying.. it may be take some time.. since it was a huge change it might take some time to get adjusted but just try to challange yourself and have a conversation with your work people or just take a walk if it is possible. It might seem uncomfortable and lots of effort but may be you just need to take step 1 and all many more steps will come to you ..
