My Anxiety Story

So I havent always had severe anxiety or depression. Im pretty sure it came from moving cities so much as a kid, even up to my teenage years. I would make friends, then leave them in a few months, which in return made me very sad and some days Id even cry. Because of this I would associate making friends with pain, I would think Why make friends when youre just going to leave them in a few months and cry again?.

I am now 22 years old and have no idea how to make friends without being awkward, Im afraid of socializing, and I am also struck by anxiety when doing tasks or jobs, which results in me not being able to finish them, even when I really want to. It is seen as laziness from the outside, which makes things worse because no one understands whats going on in the inside.

Anyway, this is all stuff I figured out about myself recently, and I have no idea where to start to mitigate or control this anxiety / depression.

@littleJackfruit1032 Hello, welcome to Anxiety Support Community! I am glad that you have reached out to here.

I am really sorry to hear about this all <3 That's true changes are really not easy to deal in life, and you had to do that lot of time, so I understand your feelings :( and leaving friends make it worse :/ so do you think you will have changes in future again? If that have you thought anything that how to cope with it?
