Hello forum, I'm a new member and not sure what to say. Right now I'm having a pretty serious emotional crisis but I'm unable to receive or afford professional help or meds. I'm male in my 50s in the US. Living alone in very unstable and rather perilous conditions, and forced to cope with constant conflicts.

I'm trying my best to get out of here but poverty keeps me trapped. Don't have friends or family to turn to for shelter. Both my mental and physical health have suffered greatly from lack of safe stable housing. Also long term isolation and loneliness are wearing me down and having no support system is really hard.

Every day I worry if I'll have a roof over my head, and the stress is overwhelming. If I disappear, there's a good chance I became homeless, or something worse happened.

In my younger healthier years I endured many hardships, and managed to cope pretty well. But as I aged it became harder each year. Memories of scary traumatic experiences haunt me. I'm always on edge and have painful ptsd symptoms, as well as cognitive impairment issues and major depression.

I'd like to go into more detail, but maintaining privacy is important. Guess that's all I will say for now. Thanks for listening, and glad to be part of this community. Best wishes to all.

@Ross63

Friend.

I'm really sorry you're fighting in so many areas. I hope you can have many good talks with listeners here, if one does not fit, please try another one. You can also go to sharing group to share or just listen. There are also closed group called huddle. I wish you had more money so life could be easier for you. There is a counseling online "meomind" - I don't know if that is free, some said so. If you don't mind I'll give you a Bibleverse: Psalm 121.7-8.
