Outside my Comfort Room
Hello everyone,
I am am average 23 year old male from a traditional Christian family that, thankfully, still stays in contact with me after the rollercoaster I've been through. When i was 7 years old my parents were divorced and I saw my dad 4 days a month. When i turned 17, social anxiety at school lead me to pursue online classes to graduate early and move from my home in San Diego to Washington State for community college. There I began to hang out with toxic people until I hated everyone and everything around me. I hated society because of petrolium, GMOs, bi-lateral politics, the annoying progressive left, the ignorant alt right, the police that gave me $3000 of debt for an expired registration; and so i went through the most difficult time in my life. I broke down, gave all my posessions away and moved out into the Gifford Pinchot forest alone, where rain and freezing temperatures eventually lead me to make a decision after two weeks: I could stay and die, or leave and find happiness. This was 2015. I got out of the forest, spent a few weeks with my toxic people again, and when everyone thought i was at my weakest point and thought they had a grasp on me, i sold all my posessions to pay for gas and a bus ticket, leaving my car in Idaho and winding up broken and financially broke in South Carolina 5 days later with only enemies left behind me. I spent the next 3 months starving, paying back rent at a veteran's home, working telemarketing.
