Overwhelmed
I'm a 20 year old college student. I've been trying to keep my calm with all of this coronavirus stuff, but it doesnt help that I dont have a place where I can be alone.
Currently I am dealing with all of my assignments and I'm moving away from my childhood home. Its not really my childhood home but it's the house I've stayed the longest in, only 10 years.
I havent been diagnosed with any mental disorders, but I have this thing called polycystic ovary syndrome which messes with my hormones a lot. Basically I'm emotional 24/7.
My mom recently started to work from home but she didnt have a place to put her office. That is until I offered my room since it's the biggest and cleanest room in the house. I didn't realize how big of an issue it would be, not having my room to be able to be alone.
I cant help but be irritated all of the time because I dont have a place I can be alone but I'm also sad all of the time because I'm moving to a new city. Away from the place I graduated high school and have so many other fond memories.
I know the move is necessary because my mom really needs her own office space. But i cant help but feel upset. While simultaneously packing up the entire house, I also have to complete all of my assignments for school, which are piling up by the second. I feel so overwhelmed and I havent slept in what feels like days. Although that could be because of my PCOS. It will all be ok soon. I hope.

I thank you for writing down your feelings, it helps to somewhat lessen the burden you're feeling right now. Every changes in our lives creates resistance inside us, Why? Because we don't want to leave our comfort zone and we fear what's ahead of us. It's filling our mind with what if's, what if I mess things up? What if they don't like me there? . I remember the day when my wife was assigned to work abroad and we came there to live with her for 3 years. I am so reluctant to leave our country and like you I have so many questions. But I said to myself that I need to embrance this changes in my life, and take the risk. For I know that whatever happens I will learn something from it. True enough, I did gain a lot of knowledge and confidence and even love the place. Please don't be too hard on yourself, I believed you will pass this overwhelming situation soon. Hold on.
