Overwhelmed
I have anxiety and depression. Derealization and depersonalization disorder. I need to do well but I don't have the energy. I have to keep good grades but week after week there is no break and it is starting to overwhelm me. My anxiety and depression tell me that the people I like to call my friends don't like me like I do them. That I'm alone. Homework, work, friends, my own mind. My anxiety is getting worse so I'm straining my thumb pulling and pushing on it so much. Being around so many people is making me spin and I just, I don't know. I want to feel normal and be ok with being ok. But it scares me when I'm ok sometimes. I've known being this way for so long it's all I know. And not many others know what I go through. I feel weak talking about it

First of all, you are not weak talking about it in fact it is really brave that you had the courage to open up about it. I know it is not an easy thing to do. I went through something similar and although everyone's situation is different hopefully you can take something from what I have learned. First of all, I realized I needed to stop being so hard on myself to be perfect when it comes to school. The pressure I used to put myself under was overwhelming and just harmed me in the end. Along with that, I found some things that really helped to relax me like reading or taking a walk outside. I know it may not always be easy but remember you always have people who will support you.
