Pistols
Being used like a pistol to handle situations.....but then...once the trigger is pulled its "no wait! Not like that! Stop!" At which point its too late and now the damage is done. Fool me once.....

I am sorry you feel used to dealing with other people's issues in such a contradictory, maddening way.

It's a little harder when its your mom. I honestly never paid attention to it my whole life before she aimed the pistol at one of my children over a false accusation. After she let her move in without talking to me first. It forced us to have a much needed conversation but damage has definitely been done. Hopefully and optimistically now that I realize it its only up from here.
