I feel so tired from being tense and worried all tge time. My regular anxiety is overtaking my social anxiety which rarely happens. I just feel so on edge and wish my brain didn't always jump to the worst case scenario.

Hi Olive. I hear you with feeling tired and tense with anxiety. It can be a very difficult thing to experience, especially over a prolonged period of time. I just wanted to say, it's okay to not be okay. There are some mindfulness techniques that you might feel are useful to help with the tension and such, like deep breathing, or progressive muscle relaxation. Both of those are clickable YouTube links that can be listened to.

Sending hugs, love, and Light to you. You are loved. You are valued. You matter. ❤️

Hey Olive, I hear that a lot is going on to make you feel tired and worried. I also hear that your regular anxiety is overtaking your social anxiety as well. I'm sure that must be overwhelming and draining too. Is there anything going on that makes these times of anxiety worse? If there is something, would trying out some coping skills be helpful? I know a good coping skill to help ground ourselves when things get overwhelming is called 54321. This coping skill works by finding five things you can see, four things you can feel, 3 things you can hear, two things you can smell, and one thing you can taste. Thank you for taking the time to post here, I know that wasn't easy. ❤️

@oliveComputer4016 Hi olive. I hear you and I also struggle with anxiety and racing thoughts its not fun. You are valid. It's okay not to be okay. Something that helps me is being in nature or trying a grounding technique where to start with 5 things you see, 4 things you hear, 3 things you feel, 2 things you taste, and 1 thing you smell. It is a technique to help bring you back to center and there are some deep breathing techniques on here if you think those will help. I am here for you. You are loved, valued, worthy and amazing. Air hug.
